We studied 1960s poster design and French cinema to ground the visuals in historical authenticity. Discussions with the production team emphasized the duality of competition and intimacy, leading us to highlight both the piano as a symbolic centerpiece and the restrained elegance of the era’s visual language.

Solution

The poster design employs minimal typography, a muted palette, and intimate photography. By evoking the quiet tension between the two leads and framing the piano as both battleground and meeting point, the campaign captures the film’s balance of rivalry, romance, and historical resonance.
